The choice for retail and cafés in the Greater Fishponds area is amazing and more choice is being added to this offering every few months within and around our eight miles boundary which stretches from Easton to Downend and Frenchay and from Lockleaze to Kingswood and Staple Hill.
Have you tried food at La Piazza 1 along the historic Straits Parade, it’s very nice and affordable as well for the quality of mouth watering tastés of Italy. At the Straits Parade in the heart of Fishponds Shopping Quarter you have Kingfisher Café, The Burger Joint, Portó Lounge and just around the corner is Coffee #1, Grounded Café, Everyday Thai and a range of pubs including The Cross Hands, The New Moon, The Star, Railway Tavern, The Old Post Office Tavern, the Old Tavern and JD Wetherspoons.
In the past few years we’ve seen brands such as Coffee #1 and Grounded Café open which has really changed the cosmopolitan feel of Fishponds and made it in to destination by adding to Portó Lounge and then came Burger Joint where one of the city’s largest online papers even said “Fishponds is the place to watch”.

St Marks Road in Easton at the boundary of Greater Fishponds is well worth visiting for Bristol Sweet Mart to buy items ranging from Herbs & Spices through to fresh fruit & veg.
